Imogen Lilley

Imogen Lilley is an emerging dynamic director and theatre maker based in Reading and the South East whose work aims to explore themes of identity, reclaim and revolutionise the theatrical canon and subvert social expectations.  Influenced by her background in Musical Theatre and Latin dance, Imogen embraces the muscularity of text, movement and music to create bold and powerful pieces.

Imogen is a passionate advocate for new writing and devised work and is particularly interested in adaptation, contemporary retelling of classics and female-centric narratives.
