When the rightful Duke of Milan, Prospero, has been betrayed by his brother Antonio he is left with no choice but to flee with daughter Miranda to an island. After several years of living in exile, Prospero conjures a tempest to shipwreck those who have wronged him in the past and to reconcile their broken relations.
